Sean W. Glenn
Hospital Administrator, Mayo Clinic
Sean W. Glenn is the Hospital Administrator for Mayo Clinic in Arizona and the administrator for Mayo’s Clinical Practice Committee which oversees the overall clinical practice in Arizona. He serves as the assistant secretary for Arizona’s Executive Operations Team (Mayo’s local governing board).
In previous Associate Administrator assignments, he has been responsible for Mayo’s Transplant Centers across the country, the Surgical Departments in Arizona and the Department of Internal Medicine in Arizona. He has also served as the administrator for Mayo Clinic’s overall Outpatient Practice governance committee. During Sean’s time working at Mayo’s Florida campus, he was the Administrator for Cardiology, Gastroenterology and Primary Care. Additionally, he spent several years as the Director for Strategic Planning. Sean began his Mayo Clinic career as an administrative fellow in Rochester, Minnesota.

Prior to joining Mayo Clinic, Sean worked as an account manager and consultant for a managed care consulting company. Sean received his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and his MBA and MHSA degrees from the University of Michigan. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and an Instructor in Health Systems Engineering in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. Sean is married with five children and is an avid fan of the outdoors and all things sports.
